==Donnajeanne Goheen is a talent manager - she has admitted NOT being a licensed talent agent in the state of California, yet she negotiates on behalf of her clients. This is a violation of California state labor laws.

==Donnajeanne is a casting director. In the past months she has cast a couple of shorts.

In normal industry circles, being both a manager *and* a casting director would be considered a conflict of interest. But not in Donnajeanne's world, it seems.

==Donnajeanne is a teacher, and travels around the country with Ariel Baker presenting acting workshops. She advertises Ms. Baker as a casting director, using the fact that she worked with Joey Paul years ago as some kind of legitimization - yet Ariel Baker has no listings on the IMDb, either as an assistant to Joey Paul, or as a CD on her own. Even if Ariel Baker were a casting director, what does this have to do with teaching qualifications? The ads say that she has a degree in theatre. Where did she get that degree? Concerned parents would like to know.

==Donnajeanne offers a scholarship: "Three lucky actors participating in this upcoming weekend will also be awarded scholarships for the residential training program in L.A. held in June and July." Residential? Do the young actors get to stay at Donnajeanne's apartment, as actors have done in the past? Is it still co-ed housing? Will Donnajeanne pay for their travel and accommodations? What exactly are the terms of the scholarship?

==Donnajeane produces events where casting directors and talent agents are paid to watch actors do scenes. In addition to charging actors, including her students and management clients (triple dipping??), these "Super Saturdays" violate state guidelines and SAG and AFTRA regulations.

Manager, teacher, consultant, casting director, landlady, showcase producer...how many ways can Donnajeanne get paid?

There are parents who don't mind that Donnajeanne has her fingers in so many pies. There are parents who don't mind that Donnajeanne's business practices violate laws and union rules. There are parents who defend her and don't see anything wrong with the glaring conflicts and red flags.

But, thank God, there are those concerned parents who do their research...
