Subject: "Species 3" from MGM Now Casting



"SPECIES 3", the second sequel to MGM's hit 1995 horror film, is now casting many starring and supporting roles for production starting in late February.

The original 1995 thriller starred Ben Kingsley, Forest Whitaker, Natasha Henstridge, and Alfred Molina. This sequel will be about a demented science professor named Abbot who is conducting unethical research experiments which involve raising a part-human, part-alien female creature who is extremely destructive in her quest to breed.

"Species 3" is being produced by Frank Mancuso ("Ronin", "Cool World") and written by Ben Ripley.

None of the cast members have been set yet.

"Species 3" has a wide variety of principal and supporting roles still open. The film is scheduled for production in late February and March.

ROLES AVAILABLE:

MALES

"Dr. Abbot, any ethnicity, 30s - 40s. A highly intelligent, eccentric biochemistry professor. Abbot is a "mad genius" scientist who has raised the part-alien, part-human Sara as an experiment.

"Dean", Caucasian or African-American, 20s. A science graduate student, he is Abbot's loyal and dedicated young lab aide. He's a bit of a geek but has a good heart inside, and he helps protect Sara's eggs from the other half-breeds.

"Hastings", Caucasian, 20s. He is Dean's lonesome college buddy who's always looking for a new date. A sharp guy with specialized biochemistry skills, he answers a singles ad in the newspaper that was put out by Amelia, a ruthless half-alien and half-human woman.

"Yosef" (a.k.a. "Joseph"), any ethnicity, 20s - 30s. A male half-breed alien who hunts Sara with the help of fellow half-breed alien Amelia.


FEMALES

"Sara", any ethnicity, 18 - mid 20s. A breathtakingly sensual beauty, Sara is the third generation of part-alien, part human creatures created by the eccentric Professor Abbot. Ruthless in her quest to find a breeding partner, Sara has incredible physical strength and the ability to transform her body into having claws, tentacles, etc. at any moment. Able to learn at a frightening rate, Sara goes in search of a mate, only to learn that no human is perfect enough to continue her line. She becomes lonely and sad, and then becomes hunted by two other half-breed aliens Amelia and Yosef. LEAD ROLE.

"Amelia", any ethnicity, 20s - mid 30s. A beautiful but maniacal "femme fatale" woman, Amelia is Sara’s flawed counterpart, a woman with enough alien DNA to make her a ruthless predator, and enough human DNA to make her susceptible to diseases. Amelia proves to be a gorgeous but homicidally sexy woman, willing to do anything to preserve her species and her rapidly decaying body. LEAD ROLE.

"Specialist", any ethnicity, 30s - 40s. A professional female lab scientist who works with Dr. Abbot in the lab.

"Sara at 6 years old", This girl appears briefly at the beginning of the film.
