Subject: positive feedback on Donnajeanne

HMMM..I am a total newbie to this business and just spent a weekend at one of Donnajeanne's workshops in Seattle with my nine year old son. The workshop was very honestly marketed and the price was VERY reasonable. My son received about 20 hours of instruction and the per hour price was WAY, WAY below anything I've seen before. This workshop was FANTASTIC - my son had an absolute blast and I think it was the most fun he has ever had in an non-school activity. He learned so much and so did I. Donnajeanne was extremely candid about describing this business and her role in it. If anything she seemed to err on the side of overly warning parents about potential pitfalls or scams, and did NOTHING to solicit any benefits from the kids or parents there besides delivering the service she promised. One parent (who I spent lots of time talking to and seems like a very overprotective, typical, Eastside Seattle Christian mom) had spent time in LA with Donnajeanne with her little girl and RAVED about her to everyone. Donnajeanne is not a hard sell person. I only spent three days with her but I used to make my living assessing people for employment and I have an eagle eye for phoniness and dishonesty. I saw no red flags. It seems like some people who were rejected by her have decided to go on the attack. I also know a woman in whose daughter was in my daughter's class and she spent lots of time in LA with Donnajeanne. This lady raved about her as well.
