How to Keep Yourself Young and Healthy
The aging process is for the greater part no mystery anymore. It consists for a great part of daily damages done on the macroscopic, tissue, cellular and genetic levels. -Adequate daily food containing whole cereals, peas, beans, vegetables, fruit, fish, mushrooms, fouls and seafood, and with just a moderate amount of red meat.
-Just a moderate amount of fat.
-Ideally most fat one eats, should be of the type mono-unsaturated. One also needs some poly-unsaturated fat of the types omega-3, and omega 6, but not too much of omega-6. The consumption of saturated fat should be very little.
- In order to achieve right fat balance, most of the fat supply should come from sources like olive, peanuts, canola, fish, nuts, sun-flower, etc. Then you will get a good balance between mono-unsaturated fat (olive, canola, peanuts), poly-unsaturated fat of the omaga-3-type (fish) and poly-unsaturated fat of the omega-6-type (sunflower).
-Just a very moderate amount of butter, soy oil, margarine, corn oil and palm oil. A high consumption of these fat sources gives you too much saturated fat and poly-unsaturated omega-6-fat.
-Just a very moderate amount of sugar, refined flour or refined cereals.
-Do not add more salt to the food than you need. Most people consume too much salt. However, some salt is needed. If the weather is warm and you are in high activity, you need more salt than by cold weather and low activity. Prefer sea-salt, because of its content of valuable minerals.
-Just a moderate consumption of tranquilizers/stimulants as alcohol and caffeine, but in moderate amounts these contribute to slow down the aging process.
-No smoking or tobacco usage.
-Supplements of specific nutritional components like vitamins, minerals, lecithin and some essential fatty acids.
-Adequate training that both gives a muscular load, work up your condition and stretches out your body. To stretch out, yoga-exercises are ideal.
-Adequate rest and stress-reduction. Daily meditation is a method of achieving this. Natural relaxing agents or specific tools for meditation or relaxation may also be useful.
-Supplements of specific anti-aging agents like anti-oxidants or human growth hormone.
-Use of specific anti-aging agents to apply upon the skin surface.
-To protect the skin against excessive sun exposure.

USE OF NATURAL OILS TO PROTECT, RESTORE AND REJUVENATE THE SKIN

String Theory - What is That

String theory is a theory within physics which is under development and which aims at explaining all forces and particles of nature from more basic principles.
Currently one uses two traditional theories which are not 100% correct, but which work well within great but different areas. One is the standard theory wich is based on quantum mechanical principles and that can explain the electromagnetic force, the weak force and the strong force. This theory works very well for very small objects and small distances, but the theory is very clumpsy, with several constants that are set by measurement, and not by the theory itself.
The other is the general theory of relativity that can explain the gravitational force, and the differences measured in length, time, velocity and mass for the same object when one changes from one referance frame to another. This theory works best when the masses and distances are great.
String theory and a more developed version of it, M-theory, is based on the principles of quantum mechanics and relativity and can explain all forces, all particles and most constants based on more fundamental notions, but the theory is still not completed even though it has been worked on for 30 years.
String theory, is based on an axiom that there are more than 3 spatial dimmentions, and hence more that 3 directions that stand in a right angle at each other, actually 10 in the current version, or M-theory, which is described in the following.
Objects or particles can have a shape of all from 0 to 10 dimmentions. These are called N-branes where N is the number of dimmentions the object has. Branes can also be of any sizes from that of tiny elementary particles to the size of an universe. A 1-brane is also called a string.
Our universe is an enormous 3-dimmentional object, a so-called 3-brane or word-brane, that is placed in an even greater super-space with more that 3 dimmentions, and with possibly many more universes formed as branes.
The elementary particles like electrons and quarks are actually strings. These can be open in both ends or be closed to small rings. When a string is open, the open ends are fixed to a 3- brane, and hence confined within the realm of a universe. The ring-shaped strings originate within a universe, but are free to jump over to other universes and interact there too.
Several of the dimmentions are however shrunken to tiny bubles around the strings, but that can happen in many ways, so that the boubles get different shapes and are wrapped around each other in different ways.The strings can vibrate in several ways, and they can be oriented in several ways inside the shrunken dimmentions that are wrapped around them.
All these possibilities of vibration and orientation of a string gives it different combination of properties, and actually the same properties that the differnt known particles have, like electrical charge, spin, charm, colors, mass, energy, boson and fermion properties and the like.
In modern quantum mechanics, forces are explained as emission of particles called bosons, having integer spin, from one particle, and caching of that boson by another particle, so that the energy and other properties in the boson is transfered between the two particles. The different vibrations and orientations also explain the bosons of various kind and thus the various kind of forces.
Ring-formes strings may as already mentioned possibly move out from the word-brane and transverse the superspace over to another word-branes or universe. Gravitons that transfere the gravitational forse is thought to act that way. In this way our universe and other universes may interfere with each other by gravitation. This may explain why the gravitational force is felt so weak and possibly also the hidden mass acting in our universe.
The shrinking of many dimmentions and the confinement to the 3-dimmentional word-brane is the cause that our world looks 3-dimmentional to us.
The tring-theory contains however a paradox that seems contrary to quantum mechanics or at least an open unanswared theoretical question. If on really mean seriously that those strings or branes are vibrating, or not just using this therm as a mathematical abstract analogy, there must be some internal fores within those strings. In other words, the string theory explains forces between particles, but imply a new kind of force inside the strings. This is because vibration is a alternation between potential and kinetic energy within an object, and that alternation is mediated by internal forces.
Must then these forses be understood as semi-classical continuous forces in a continuous material, only that the amount energy in the vibration is quantisized, or must one regard the strings and branes as consisting of even smaller particles, possibly 0-brabnes, with some even smaller bosons carrying forces between them?

Salps - A Kind of Small Animals Enormously Important for the Marine Ecosystems
Salps are small animals, typically round 10 cm long, swimming freely in the oceans in enormous amounts.
Many of them are colorless, translucent and difficult to spot, but some are brightly colored. They belong to the class thaliacea. The systematic place of salps is: Kingdom - Animalia, Phylum - Chordata, Subphylum - Tunicata, Class - Thaliacea, Order - Salpida, Family - Salpidae
Animals of this class, thaliacea, have an outer mantel surrounding the rest of the body with a space filled with water between the mantel and most of the core body parts. As the only animal group this class uses cellulose for strengthening of the outer body parts.
The mantel has one great opening which in the salps are at the back end of the body. They have a big mouth and past the mouth there is a very broad intestine part with many openings out to the mantel.
A salp is steadily gulping in water through the mouth and pressing this water through all these openings out into the mantel space, and further out through the back opening of the mantel. Thereby it achieves three results. The broad perforated front intestine performs the breathing, it filters out plancton used as food and the animal propels itself foreward by the stream of water pressed out through the back opening.
The life of salps have two great faces. In the first face it lives freely. But eventually new individuals grow out asexually from the side of its body. This happens many times until you have a chain of up to several hundreds of individuals hanging together side by side.
When these individuals mature, they became females. When they mature further they turn into males, so that it will be both males and females in the chain. Sperms from the males in the same chain or from nearby chains will fertilize the eggs of the females. These are released and from the eggs hatch new free individuals, and the cycle repeats once again.
Another closely related group of animals, pyrosomes, meaning fire-bodies, make colonies formed as great siphones. They emit light in the dark, which has given them their name. Much of what is said in this articles can also be said about pyrosomes.
Salps is a very important food source for animals in the sea. They turn plancton into meat that can be used by fishes and other animals. They reduplicate very fast, grow very fast and are typically eaten very fast.
Also feces from the salps sinks to the bottom and provide enormous amount of nutrition for the bottom life in the sea.
At periods the salps can consume nearly all the plancton in an area and the nomber of salps can nearly overwhelm an area. When there is not much plancton left, most of the salps die out and the amount of plancton again increases and these wil now overwhelm the area. Then the number of salps again increaes and the cycle repeats itself. This Plancton-salp cycle is ecologically important.
In the last years the amount of salps in the seas have increased greatly, while the amount of plancton has decreased. This change may cause problems for the whole marine ecology and has begun to cause practical problems for the life of humans along the coastlines that are steadily more polluted by salps aggreagating along the beaches.
There are speculations that steadily warmer oceans is the cause of this fenomenons. But stedily more data suggest that there has not been any global warming during the last decades, so that is probably not the cause.
But salps may become a source of economical income, because they may be used as food for animals, as raw material for ecologically beneficial fertilizer and also possibly as food for humans.
