Most holidays are annoying anyways. So I say you should. I mean, if you don't have any direct complaints about the religion, then go for it. Just make sure you get somebody else to deal with your health should you be unconcious. Because if you don't then his beliefs are anti-blood tranfusion, which means he'll just let you die if you need blood.
