Subject: Watch out for this organization

This organization showed uncaring attitude toward me, they did explain why I wouldn't be an ideal candidate, but the way they have follow the prejudice customs of the locale of the place I desired to go is simply un-Christ like. Did not the bible state that Men and women, Jews and gentiles, all are equal in the name of Christ?

ITPS is a registered corporation in US government, anything contains bias and discrimination against race, gender, religion and so on are not allowed to appear on our websites or corporation policy. We will not advertise any standards or criteria set up by foreign institutes, church or agencies which do not comply with our policy of fairness. For example, if a person is blind or of a Muslim faith, we are not able to send him overseas, because most schools will not accept him, but if we advertise such issue, it is against the US law.

In reality, most Japanese schools do not hire any races other than Caucasians, and female teachers are preferred, it certainly is not our desire to see, nor any agency would advertise such a bias hiring. The schools themselves do not advertise such policy either, but that's common sense in Japan. Please feel free to check the "Discrimination in Japan" in Google website, you will see hundreds of articles regarding this issue, it is a norm for Japanese society to discriminate against other races, and even to their own people. For example, if a person was born in the countryside in Japan, he or she would never go up the ladder in a corporation, or if a person was born in a certain part of Japan, it would a great disadvantage for his life or career. There are many issues such as this are hard to fathom by foreigners. It is easy to be a tourist in Japan, but not to stay in there. Most English teachers in Japan will not stay long as the experience we have learned. Japan could be a very lonely place for any foreigners.

We had sent an Asian teacher to a Japanese church along with other Caucasians before, and the church never wanted to contact us again. You are new in this area, Just let you know that there are many difficulties faced by Missions organizations regarding handling foreign affairs, as a result they have their own screening standards and do not necessary post them to the public.

It was most inconsiderate of your organization not mentioning that the Japan position required WHITE FEMALES only. Even though I'm fully aware that it is ok in Asia to discrimniate against people, but to not being told formally on your organization's web page straight up is most distressing. This makes other people's job so much harder. No, I'm not oppose of going to China. But why would I want to go with an organization such as yours?
