Well, I'm not Filik, but I think you're right.
I've had 6 Retail installed too, and the problems you discribe were exactly mine. Someone somewhere suggested to replace 6 Retail with a hacked 6 Beta version (I have v. Y302), and indeed this worked (well at least for me).
I suggest you do the same. New official DC30+ drivers for Prem6Retail arent available yet, and when they are, they still are not good for DC10+ owners. By that time we'll need Filik's knowledge again to hack those new drivers for us 'tenners'.
BTW: Prem 6 Beta works very OK and coz it is hacked it has no time limit or anything. It has virtually no bugs, the only nasty thing is that, after changing views etc, sometimes the video preview & edit screens suddenly get floated all over the monitor screen. Minimizing Premiere and then again resize back to full screen solves this most of the time within a few seconds. OK, this is a bit annoying but not so bad.
I guess it's still downloadable somewere, but I'm afraid I dont know where. Maybe you could try to do a search here: http://search.warez.com/index.shtml
