I wrote that manual and all I can say/write is: I've installed the DC10/P6Beta/Filik combination on three systems now and they all work a full 100%.
As you might remember the manual DOES mention possible problems with the Premiere 6 RETAIL version. Maybe you should try to get a 6 Beta version (see thread below).
