I had this type of problem when I recently blew out my system and then re-installed everything, including Premiere and the "new" Filik patch. At first, everything seemed great. Finished at 3 am, did a few captures and renders, and I thought I was off to the races. The next day, I started to do some captures, and then it would start to get wierd, sometimes there was a redish type tint to the picture, sometimes it was coming in just B&W, sometimes the picture would be cut off, or even at one point, the capture window was blown way up and all you could see is about 1/16th of the capture, but it did capture the correct picture. I started thinking it must be a hardware issue; maybe I thought I was getting overheating.
But, I decided to uninstall Premiere, and all DC10/30 software (1.41a drivers) and hack stuff, and re-do over again.
Voila, I do not get the problem anymore.
I also had a problem with sound at one point, not capturing for some reason, even though I was coming into the PC, although it had been working earlier. I figured I must of installed something to break it. So, using WIN-ME unrestore, I went back a couple of hours, and it was OK. Strange. I re-installed everything I had installed before, and it is still OK.

So, maybe uninstall and completely re-install. Make sure you have all the files from Filik's zip in the right place, including the MISIV95D.VXD file.

Hope this helps. It does sound like the same issue I had.
