Many people have the problem, that the PAL option in their output settings menu dissapears from time to time. So they are not able to output in PAL mode, whicj is BAD if you live in Europe (like me).

I found a way around, and again this is a great new way to use the misiCI.dll-Patch of Filik (Filik, you're a god)

And here is what I did to be able to reselect PAL in my output options: I replaced the misiCI.dll in my Windows/system directory by the file from the DC30 plus card. You need to take the "patched" version of a guy named Filik:

The two cards are almost the same. But the DC30 gives the user more options. You are ALWAYS able to select PAL in the options.

But: after each restart you have to reselect PAL manully, because it often switches back to NTSC.

You can record and play back you files in Studio.

It is sad, that so many people are having the problem, not being able to select PAL in the output settings - and Pinnacle isn't able to help.

I understand, that this is a difficult situation, because it only happend to european cards, so the US support has no chance testing it. European support personnel should focus on that problem ...
