Hank,

i had similar problems. But i solved it with this procedure:

First, check in the windows/preferences/system that there is no IRQ conflict. The card needs a seperate IRQ to work properly. You can avoid IRQ conflicts by moving the card into another PCI slot on your machine. DO NOT put the card into the slot next to the AGP graphics card! This will NOT work. It can be a pain finding the right slot if you have a lot of cards installed... happy swapping ;)

Now, if you found a decent port, DEINSTALL all Pinnacle software and drivers. Check in the registry that there are NO keys named "pinnacle" or "miro" left. Check in windows/inf/other that there are no INF files from the cd10 left. If so, delete this stuff.

Now, shut down and remove the dc10 card from your system!

Now, reinstall the software and drivers (yes, without the card installed!) for the dc10+.

After installation, turn computer of, install the card in the PCI slot that gave you no IRQ conflicts. The system should now find the card and install the drivers automatically. Now the system test comes up and if you press TEST now, it should work. IF NOT, then you either still have IRQ problems OR you failed to deinstall the drivers correctly before installing it from cratch.

Hope this help, it worked for me after days of frustration. And sorry for my english...

Kusie
