No, unfortunately you can not.

Filiks hack is only possible using DC10's VFW (video for windows) drivers. The latest "real" release was 1.06 from 2001. FYI, newer Pinnacle driver releases, such as to be found on Studio8 cdroms, do carry both VFW and WDM drivers. But in fact the VFW part of it is just a copy of the old v1.06 drivers.

Under XP you have to install the newer DC10 WDM (windows drivers model) DirectShow drivers (a.k.a. Active Movie), as this OS doesnt accept the older VFW capture format anymore.

All the so calles "DC10 WinXP drivers" (most of them in ZIP files) you can find on numerous sites on the internet, are no hacks. In fact they are nothing more than driver rips from Studio 7 or 8 cdroms. They contain ordinary, unhacked drivers; a new WDM one plus an old VFW one.

Maybe, just maybe, it IS possible to apply the old DC10 VFW drivers under XP, using a so called "VFW to WDM wrapper" (try a search on that phrase). But thats hardly of any interest coz this way you can only capture & edit at a MAXIMUM resolution of 352x288 (or something like that).

We just have to wait for Filik (or someone else) to write a hack for the DC10-WDM-XP drivers. But I doubt that'll ever happen, because AFAIK those WDM drivers dont carry Miro AVI Cache functionality (Filik's hack is based on) anymore
