Congrats to Melissa Lingerfelt on being crowned Little Miss North Carolina Majestic! (as well as winning Overall Talent and Overall Beauty) You were absolutely awesome, girlfriend, and it could not have been won by a sweeter girl or a nicer family! Can't wait to see you compete in Miss America (except let's try not to compete in the same year! lol!) Congrats also to my pageant sisters, Brianna Hester, Junior Miss and Kallie Potter, Tiny Miss! I loved watching you all at crowning!

The competition was incredible.... sometimes hard to predict Top 5 because the Interview, Talent and Beauty awards tended to be very spread out. (other than Melissa Lingerfelt, who bumped for Majestic, and Kathryn McCloud in Little Miss, no one really dominated the divisions). I think some of the winners were somewhat of a surprise (not because of how they did in competition) but because it was impossible in many divisions to guess who had the highest scores. One may have done well in Interview but didn't place in Talent, etc. Some girls who have done really well in the past didn't even place this year!
