There are some fundamental tenets that are common between good CG and IMA/NG. Impact position. Maintaining left arm/shaft angle. Release.

IMHO it never hurts to see best doing these things.

You do need to know what NOT to try and incorporate. If you're easily distracted in this way it may be better not to watch.
