I had also asked the question there but did not get anything beyond speculation.

I saw an interview with Notah's college coach where he mentioned that Notah had tried "some Moe Norman" stuff.

Looking at Notah's bio it seemed as though the time period would have been about '94-'95. Since Notah played on the Canadian tour he might well have heard of/seen/met Moe or others who knew him. As a result it is possible that what he tried was not NG Corp. NG via Jack K. but, as his coach said, "Moe Norman stuff".

I had a golf lesson at Compusport in Las Vegas and discussed my unconventional swing with the pro before the lesson. He had never heard of NG much less IMA but had heard of Moe Norman. I'm sure he regarded my swing as a Moe Norman thing.
