Subject: The NG short backswing really works!

I just incorporated the very short 1/2 backswing to my NG swing and found dramatic improvement in control and didn't lose any distance(in fact if you counted all my shanks before the 1/2 backswing my shots are actually much farther). Note: When I mention 1/2 backswing I mean taking the club back with a straight left arm where my hands never go higher than my shoulders and my club shaft is pointed straight up(not parallel like conventional golf).

Any new comments from anybody about this technique is most appreciated.

Thanks for all who replied to my earlier message regarding this subject. Your comments along with my own swing success has convinced me that shorter is better.
