Subject: What do you mean by release?

I am curious if we all mean the same thing when we use the term 'release'.

When I use the term 'release' I mean the rotation of the club from toe up before imapct to (hopefully) face square to the target line at impact to toe up at a point soon after impact.

This represents about 180 degrees of rotation on an axis along the shaft. In IMA this happens between shaft horizontal on the downswing and shaft horizontal after impact.

Is this what you mean by 'release'?
