Pipeline Moe,

This is what Jack K. had me do to feel the motion of moving the hands back and down in LPG. Start the backswing with your hands moving the club back immediately bringing your right elbow to the inside as Moe does now just bicep curl the club up to your right shoulder bringing your hands as close to your right shoulder as you possibly can. Your left shoulder should be behind the ball by now. While still having your back to the target just move your hands away from your right shoulder extending your arms. With your arms fully extended your hands will still move away from the target then go straight down and then down and out through the ball.

Do this in slow moe until you get the feel for it. Then just swing at 50% until you really get the feel for this movement, after that do whatever tempo swing that you are comfortable with. A simple swing thought that Jack K. told me is, when you start your downswing just move your hands down toward your right heel.
A few years ago while I was taking a CG lesson from a pro, I was told the same thing only naturally with CG you don't fold your left arm in the backswing.

What I think is happening when you learn and do this move is you are getting as wide of an arc in the swing circle that is possible that gives you a powerful swing.
