When the US open was just comming on Sat. on NBC TV they ran a group of pictures of past US open chanpions. The picture of the very young man that won the open around 1900 showed him holding his follow through. He clearly had his left thumb wrapped around the grip. It did not seem to affect his game determently, did it? Anyone else seen this picture and do you know what this golfers name is?
