I think the speech thinned out rather poorly near the end. I did agree with a majority of what he had to say, but as you probably know I don't have much faith in both Democrats or Republicans. But, if a Democrat must win, then I'd probably choose Howard Dean over the rest. I heard him speak on C-Span the other day, and I was rather impressed. I mean, he seemed like a conservative Nader but a liberal Gore. Slightly on the 'radical' side, really. I liked that. I still don't agree with the Democrats' ideas on globalization and all that.

Oh yeah, and on a totally unrelated subject: Lona, I've been digging up old tapes and old CD recordings of my band and putting my favorite songs of the band on one tape. Some of the stuff's pretty damned old. I even have some tapes that date clear back to when I wasn't even the singer. It's pretty pointless nostalgia for me. However, I thought since I was compiling, I might as well send you a copy. After listening to most of the songs all day long, I've noticed a strange progression, not only in studio and lack of tape-hiss (which there's a lot of!) but also lyrically and vocally. I started off real serious, but I've found myself laughing a lot of pointless songs we recorded that had nothing to do with politics. Just stupid, funny lyrics with stupid, funny vocals. I've also mixed them up, the progressive from the not-so-progressive, so I wouldn't bore myself. Because some songs tend to sound exactly like the others, if it's from one time period in the band's life.

So, if you'd finally like a copy, please e-mail me your P.O. Box at fool_jinx@yahoo.com. I won't put the song "Religion" on there, because you've already heard it. Unless you just really want me to. :P

With Love,

The Serpent

p.s. that "with love" part (as though I was writing a real letter) was meant to be a joke. because I've never signed message boards like that before and I ain't gonna start now!
