I think the Bible was written to explain the world around us. Most of the Christian, Muslim, and Hindu beliefs were taken from pagan beliefs.

Anyways, kings and men with power got a hold of the Holy Bible, and used it to enslave and oppress people. Like an excuse for violence, and all sorts of other "evils."

That way they can just blame God for the violence, slavery, and oppression.

Now that we have science, logic, and fact, the Holy Bible, or any bible for that matter, simply isn't needed.
