I think I've been infected with the flu
Once again
This world's got me feeling blue

Sometimes in this life
You've got to give your share
But this time
I'm gonna sit down
Cuz i don't care

It's what everybody else would do
I'm fine right here

I voted once before
But I didn't win
Now I'll never vote again

People say I should give a damn
People say that I should respect this land
But I say, "no way"
I won't compromise
Either way my life remains the same

It's so much fun working nine to five
It's really a lot of fun getting over-time
Sure beats caring about anyone else

What a blast
Getting trashed on the weekends
Nothing to do, so fuck activism
Don't call it lame, unpatriotic, or cynicism
Cuz I don't care

They say this is the "land of the free"

Back home by the sea
At our outdoor cafe
Our chameleon tongues
