People have been telling me, since I've been pushing more people to vote Green, that the Green Party candidates have been pushing for Socialism. For instance; Maximum Wage seems to amplify their outrage. Others have even told me that, "Hitler was a socialist." Well, to me, Hitler was more of a fascist racist murderer. And, by the way, wasn't Andrew Jackson a president? He managed to slaughter thousands upon thousands of Native Indians. Was he a socialist or a Christian? So those people's statements are a bit ignorant, but so am I. I'm not really up on all of the Green key values. However, I do support Nader's direct action and legalization of hemp - if not all illegal drugs.

It also seems as though there are a lot of different opinions within just the Green Party. I mean, there are a few number of well known anarchists in the Party. I think Noam Chomsky was in there as well as Michael Moore. Not all of them always agree with each other.

What I'm down with, though, is the following:

- Enactment of a maximum wage

- Payback through free healthcare, education and public transportation

- Withdrawal of the U.S. from NAFTA and the World Trade Organization, ideally forcing their dissolution

- A moratorium (or at least mandatory labelling) of irradiated and genetically engineered "frankenfood"

- End the "War on Drugs", disband the DEA, and commute the prison sentences of all small time drug offenders to "time served"

- Abolish the military and CIA, and destroy all nuclear weapons

- Shift the United States Government to Parliamentary rule, with proportional representation, and a sixty day limit on election campaigns

- "None of the Above" option on all ballots, whereby a majority of dissatisfied voters can force a new election

- Allow taxpayers to choose exactly where the government directs their money

- Citizen election of police officers

- Legalize squatting in abandoned buildings

- Eradicate all SUV's

All of these ideas used to be sort of a Democrat's wet dream, so to speak, but instead of working for the environment and people's well being they back religious rights fundamentalists and big corrupt corporations like; Nike, Enron, Coca-Cola, and Shell oil. I even hear Bill Clinton howling at Curious W. George that he's lost his focus on the war on terrorism. The war on terrorism will never be won through War, unless you wanna turn the entire Middle East into a parking lot - save Israel (the Jews will have nowhere to go when tribulation starts - *ahem*). Anyways, through war, if you wanna win, you'd have to kill off men, women, and children who support Osama Bin Laden and the Taliban. More and more people over there seem to have nowhere else to turn but Osama Bin Laden. Okay, I don't wanna get started on that. I don't agree with the direct war on so called terrorism.

All I'm saying is the best bet is to not vote for Curious George or Joseph Lieberman in the next election. They're both pro Drug War, both pro Death Sentence, and both pro WTO, and they both support religious rights groups, which are just ridiculous. To me, for the last six years of my life, I feel as though we need a decent change, and I'm thinking the Green Party have a better chance than anyone else - save someone from the New Party.
