God is a title,Jehovah is his name,so to say Jehovah is the hebrew version of the name God is in total error.

God-Is EL in Hebrew and means "Mighty one."

Jehovah-Is YHWH/YAHWEH in Hebrew and means "He who causes to become."

See totally different ONE.
