Serial Mind-Fucker (Apprehension)
She's a memory
Of desperate times, I know
Another land mine
I stepped on long ago
Who was the tailor
Who tried to mend my heart to hers?
A double-wide trailer
With a bitch of a curse
Only seventeen
With a life unforeseen
And her nightmares
Turned into my reality
I was taught at a very young age
That mankind was devolving
In its own selfish chores
"We've destroyed the world
More than the dinosaurs"
But in the hallway
My soul poured into hers
A downward spiral
Deflowering ancient words
On along to daybreak
Clawed out of my mentality
No more time to awake
I tried to destroy my humanity
I should be free
From this devastating society
From this shot-gun bitches memory
The further I moved away
The closer we became
She was the image
Of everything I hate
Lie dead on the floor
Like the obedient dog you are
Re-born on the cutting board
Each piece was sliced to oblivion
Any spare piece of life
She threw it all away
Can't ever fall asleep again
As she watches over me
With blood drenched wings
I'm lulled only by a deep freeze
Fall away . . .
From her termites
Who eat holes in my brain
Who create and put together
All the akes and the pains
I must have indulged
Because I refuse to be a slave
Show me my humiliation
Build and destroy
Your holy nation
We once knew the truth
But died one step away
From the fountain of youth
She's a memory
Of desperate times, I know
Took my childhood
My dignity, my hope
But in retrospect, I gotta wonder
Does she think of me this way?
