My accent isn't near as bad as others. It's just that people more northern and western can tell a slight difference in my voice.

People in the south, who have just met me, ask me where I'm from, as if they aren't sure I'm really from Tennessee.

I mean, I don't fish for crawldads (or whatever), I don't say "ya'll," and I don't really say much else like that. I just have that bit of a slight twang to my accent. Doesn't really show up while I'm yelling ("singing") though.

I enjoy doing voice impersonations, as well.

I don't sound twangy when I'm imitating cartoons or Australian people, or anything.

And if I'm being extremely polite or gentlemen like, I might add a heavier twang for the affect.

:)
