Or am I nuts? I mean who is this Jerry McGuire? Why is his pathetic life in any way deserving of a movie with his name as a title? OK I admit choosing Tom Cruise might have brought people to see it, but not me.

Same thing with Erin Brockovich. Who is this person depicted by Julia Roberts? I have not encountered the name elsewhere, so I have no care to see Julia's pathetic attempt at acting.

Well, people liked the movies but I have rules:

1) Do not waste time watching movies that I do not know anything about their topic from real sources. You know, books, news etc.

2) Do not sing songs I can not understand the lyrics to. You look stupid singing the wrong ones, and you feel stupid finding out that a song you like is totally against your entire moral fiber.

3) Never trust a person with a hyphen in ther name, or a number at the end. I think of popes and kings here.

4) The best way to avoid sexual inappropriateness is to REPRESS REPRESS REPRESS.

5) Keep two lists of people that have pissed you off, just in case you can't get to the weapon of choice. Group the people according to two shots each. Hey, let's be sure here. You are either going to prison, getting shot or killing yourself afterwards, so make it count.

6) While books without pictures are preferred, the ones with pictures can be more fun.

7)The best way to avoid complaints being filed for staring at attractive women is to burst into tears when caught, mumbling how the person resembles a fiance that broke off the engagement. If the person is persistent, apologize, saying you refuse to act like they are not attractive, and then leave.
