Yeah, the major differences between Republicans and Democrats is that Republicans stand for greed, bigotry, and corruption. As the Democrats stand for feeling guilty about greed, bigotry, and corruption, and sprinkling a few crumbs down to the poor so long as the poor don't start getting enough power to control their own lives and influence national policy, protect a few calendar-friendly endangered species, and clearcut Montana and Idaho instead of the redwoods.

I'm all for the Green Party and, for that matter, most to all independent parties who ensure a more direct Democracy -- in that, people voting on what to do instead of us being told what they're going to do to help national security. It must be done from the ground up, not the other way around.

I mean, if I (and a number of Greenies, by the way) had any say at all, our power boys' attentions would be brought to the fact that SUVs pose a great threat to national security. We can't protect ourselves from more terrorist attacks and those who want to corporately damage America until it becomes nothing more than a banana republic if the ozone layer is made out of swiss cheese and we're all dying from exhaust fumes.

We have the elements of a Democracy, and who we're told we vote for, which, what, nineteen percent actually vote? Give me a break.

And then we got the American Republic and then the corporate America agenda. And that's what runs this country.

The elements of Democracy seems to get flushed down the drain, and what we have left is a society being ran by the dictatorship of big business (free trade). Because, after all, it's whatever makes them money.

The best way to get rid of this is to expose these companies through an uninterrupted pay channel (by the people) called the News Channel. That way Nike won't have any say in what this channel will expose. Sure, Tiger Woods might lose some money, but it's for a greater cause. :)
