Of course, if it had a good beat, or a good riff, or both, anyone would enjoy it regardless of the lyrics.

I mean, most artists want people to stick their heads in the ground, sing a tribute to the 9/11 victims, and be done with it. Then they can go back to singing about their mindless sugar coated nonsense that'll make them money. Which that money will be pretty useless if they're burning to death from the U.V. rays because the ozone layer has been shredded beyond repair.

The majority doesn't like that!

And, when New York gets nuked and half the east coast is blown off the map, and we're too busy retaliating to worry about our eco-system, political system, and so forth. All I can do is blurt out an unfortunate, "I told you so." Either that or be too deathly ill from all the nuclear fall out to even say that.

But I don't want to preach. Not even through a medium that is most likely going to be listened to by younger people before they listen to Ralph Nader, or somebody like that.

Silly me.
