I knew Bari and I know Cherney and others involved in the suit. I have to say, I'm quite surprised at the victory. The theory of damages was a bit esoteric, but the jury got it. Namely, the slander impacted their work as activists.

I posted some links below as well.

The jury is one of the last democratic aspects of our system. The judge did everything to kill the case, even dismissed some of the causes of action.

It'll be a long time before the plaintiffs see any of the money, but this verdict couldn't have come at a better time.
