Here's something I wrote in '91. Or so it says in the corner of the paper.

I found it while I was cleaning out my dresser, and just doing a bit of sumer cleaning and I found it.

It's hard to follow, but it's good for a kid to have written.

Well, you be the judge.

I think I was just starting to actually write at that time, so it doesn't have a chorus. It's written in poetry form instead.

I think.

Hell, it might have been a song.

Anyways, before you read it; Ann is my step mom, and Chrystal is my sister. Apparently the Gulf War was going on at the time. It's the only war I could think of. Maybe the drug war, but I doubt it.

Why is Chrystal reading Seventeen?
It's a bunch of fake people
Who line up the scene

All those cotton candy looks
Bring mass appeal
But I've got to wonder
If those people are real

Is Seventeen telling us about the War?
Is money what they're really dying for?

Ann says not to think so much
Dad laughs, and says, "right," a bunch

All our parents are copping out
What I've read about the sixties
Seems useless now

It was just a bunch of yuppies
Taking LSD and having sex
The present they gave me
Didn't come from their checks

Under my Christmas tree
Was A.I.D.S. war, and drugs
Did they even once think about us?

Who really framed Roger Rabbit?
Who framed Khaddafi
And killed all his kids?

Nothing to do now but go to sleep
Middle school here I come!
