The number one reason we even bother with the Middle East is because of oil. The solution to that would be to grow marijuana and use it's methanol and gasohol it takes to fuel an automobile.

It costs a little more money, but at least people won't die.

Didn't Carter tell the first Bush that his Gulf War would set peace relations in the Middle East back fifty years?

Well, he didn't listen, and look what happened.

Now, with our brand new southern fried leader, we're headed down that same path.

We don't need civil rights taken away in order to provide security. That's what they're asking us to beg for.

Hit 'em with a bomb, and watch them run to their brave big bro', so they can all sleep better at night. Little do they know that we're slowly taking their rights away.

Notice that once something is outlawed it never comes back? Notice how policemen are being given more rights, while the mere civilians they are supposed to "serve and protect" are losing more and more of their rights.

Sure, I think alcohol was the only time a law was ever changed back. But they've gotten smarter. Brainwash the masses to make people believe that only crazy people enjoy human rights.

For instance; "Reefer Madness." A documentary about marijuana that is completely absurd. A woman takes one hit from a joint, screams, and jumps outta window.

Happens every day, right?

Human rights in twenty years will be perceived as chaotic, anarchy, and so forth. It's already getting that way. Check out the Gastopo styled secert police who raid Short Wave Radio providers/owners.

We think that this is okay?

When the technology of spy ware expands to the maximum what chances are there that some terrorists seize control of that, and can then do some extremely serious damage?

In other words; who is going to be the ones watching those who are watching us?

Terrorists?

It's not that insane of a concept.

Therefore, I vote NO on amendment rights and civil rights being taken away for a so called "betterment" and safe America.

"They who would give up liberty for safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."

- Thomas Jefferson

You know those guys who check your bags at the airport are the lowest paid people there?

Up their wages! Get better air security! Take an example from Israel. They hadn't had a plane highjacking in years.

Politics is going to keep killing people. We've already felt the repercussions of the Gulf War. I fear in fifteen years we'll feel the repercussions of this war.

Look at how young those kids are over there throwing rocks at Israeli tanks.

Like Osama Bin Laden said, "Kill me, a hundred more will take my place."

Gore wouldn't be able to handle this. Clinton was probably the most corrupt president we've had to date. Not because of his dick. However selling powerful weapons to South America and China wasn't exactly a great idea. Giving out welfare checks, and then cutting them off wasn't exactly brilliant either. They said (then) that more people were gone of welfare. Gone where? My guess was the streets. Clinton's little yuppie face felt our pain as he inflicted more of it.

I'm looking in the direction of a Noam Chomsky for president, or a Jello Biafra, Michael Moore, or Ralph Nader. The Greens seem to be the only ones I agree with. Of course, the whole going out to arrest Osama Bin Laden is absurd.

Listen and understand where and why terrorism occurs, eliminate the propaganda. and take action. We've tried war a million times.

I doesn't seem to be working. I agree that we should defend ourselves, we're just going about the wrong way. It'll continue until someone they care about dies from their own pile of bombs.
