Now there's a reason to kill of Jar Jar Binx! Stupid Trix rabbit!

This one was better than the first, but still lacks the magic of the old films. I was trying to figure out why, and it came to me what is missing. The satire. Lucas didn't take himself too seriously before. He's really not that great a writer, and the best script was Empire Strikes Back, written by Isaac Kasdan. He should hire a writer and stick to what he does best.

No surprises. Halfway through the first movie, I figured out what would send Anakin towards the dark side. Anybody want to bet that the princess or whatever she is will be killed in the next movie, sending Anakin over completely? Maybe if they really want to be clever, he'll actually kill her when she turns against him.

You gotta wonder about her too. Here he describes killing every man, woman, and child in a village and she still wants to get into his pants.

That will be the second half of the movie. Obviously, there will be a big fight where Darth Vader kills Samual Jackson, since all but two of the Jedis have to die in the next movie.

Better than the Mummy, but not as good as the 5th Element, X-men, or The Matrix.

Jimmy Smits to start the resistance? Not enough character development for him. I wonder if it ended up on the editor's floor.
