I've always said that I love myself too much to ever die. However, seriously thinking, I logically understand that I can't fight the inevitable.

Maybe Gould was trying to pro-long his life so he could do more beneficial work. If I was going to give him the benefit of the doubt.

What you posted made me think that he was completely against religion or spiritual beliefs of any kind.

Him being an evolutionist didn't curve my judgement at all. Evolution doesn't exactly take God spiritual beliefs out of the picture. It just changes the literal interpretation of Genesis. Which doesn't bother me.

I just believe (in mind and heart) that we should keep both science and spiritual values.
