Every domestic animal and plant can be traced to a wild cousin, and some can no longer cross breed. Some do, but produce sterile blends, such as the mule and horse producing a donkey. We know that canines were bred from lupines. Broccoli was bred from a form of broccoli which in turn was bred from cabbage which looks nothing like it did a thousand years ago.

Where creationists get confused is they see a species as a fixed value, ie. you start from one species and you "evolve" to another, and so you ask where the "missing link" is. The problem is that species designation itself is often arbitrary. There are some working definitions however, and the link below documents some observed speciation.
