Subject: Terrorist vs. Guerrilas --> AGAIN!

After reading about Colombia and seeing todays presentation I really feel that the guerrillas in Colombia should be classified as terrorits. I couple of weeks ago, I posted a message saying there is a distinction between terrorists and guerrillas because they have different intents. But now I think tactics should also be a major consideration in labeling a group terrorists or guerrillas. I also am confused if there is a distinction between these two groups. According to me, the guerrillas in Colombia should not be labeled "guerrillas" because they are clearly terrorists. Going into small towns and killing innocent people just to prove their point is so wrong but is a tactic used by both guerrillas and terrorists. So are they the same? But whenever i think of terrorists i get a negative feeling in my mind thus i rather label Colombian fighters as terrorist because of their violent acts. I am sure i am sounding really confusing but the truth is i am confused about these two issues: Is there a distinction between guerrillas and terrorists and if there is why do I still feel that the Colombian guerrilla fighters should be labeled as terrorists instead of guerrillas. What do you guys think?
