: You think you know me, you think I’m so perfect :

[ · silver marbles swivel and scan the club, watching as the previous band exited the stage to his right. shifting slightly he brought his board up and rested it across his knees, turning to put his shoulders 'pon the smooth wall behind him, now facing the stage. off in a secluded corner, though not usually much for company, he keeps an idly eye on Caitie while watching the next musician, the one dubbed 'Sphinx', stride up confidently and place herself before the throng. though he too sometimes played music, mostly just guitar, he admired any who could gather the courage to step up infront of an audience to play. it was something he could never muster. yet through all his thinking, his mug remains the same, bland and void of any remark. turning he moves to grasp his drink, yet stops as the youth upon the stage begins playing and turns back to her, completely amazed by the skill and melody of her music. it was better than good. suddenly realizing he must have looked amazed and -- though he hated to be so open -- clearly uplifted, he recovered and sat watching her, as did the other inhabitants, not wishing to miss a word. unfortunately, her song ended quicker than he had wished, though he applauded and clapped and whistled along with the rest - perhaps he himself the loudest, most likely - not being able to wipe the slight smirk [his only hope for a smile] off his lips. she was good, no, better than good. though mildly considering the thought of going to greet her he brushes it off, sinking back against the wall slightly, shaking his head at himself. that wasn't him, he was and social outcast who loved to skate, and that was about it. right? maybe · ]
