feminique sashayed 'cross from her spot on cushioned stool at bar t'wards the wooden stage. pedates slowly climbed up the stage steps, seeming to her as if it took an eternity. soul had itched for the stage, of course she had to go. slender digits quietly grasp the microphone w'thin their grip, salmon pink tongue quickly flickering o'er rosey labria b'fore vocals emerged from labrums.

"see my days are cold without you,
but i'm hurtin' while i'm with you.
and though my heart can't take no more i keep on,
running back to you."

one of her most favorite songs in the whole world...this one could be sung properly. digits gripped the mike within them tightly, when mahogany orbics opened, they cast their gaze out towards the audience.

"baby i don't know why you treat me so bad.
say you love me, no one above me, and i was all you had. though my heart is beatin' for you, i can't stop crying.
i don't know how i allowed you to treat me this way and still i stay."

song continued on, until stage went silent. optics cast downward as digits fumbled with microphone, slipping it back into it's original place. just to be up on the stage again seemed like heaven. pedates moved her off the stage and she made her way towards the doors, to leave.
