How long have I been in this storm?
So overwhelmed by the ocean’s shapeless foam
Water's getting harder to tread
With these waves crashing over my head

'`' With the closing melodies of the previous song, a young girl with strands of redish hued hair steps onto the stage, an acoustic guitar cradled by slender arms. Tight blue jeans hug ample hips, a halfway unbuttoned camel colored blouse accenting her fit bustline. Emerald orbits gaze with deepening emotion over the crowd. She seemed at ease on the stage. Handing sheet music to the band she sits on a stool. Fingers move to pluck out several chords, the band silent. They had been told to come in only and the chorus and would obey her simple command. A melodious, haunting voice rose over the crowd, strong and inpenetrable.

The feeling of my heart skipping

The last strands of music fade away, echoing to the very ends. The haunting melody of her voice closes, her slim body raising and nodding briefly to the crowd of people. The emotion shown through her tones gave the tender melody a haunting eerieness. The song obviously came from her heart, the depths of her all. Stepping down from the stage she moves absently to the bar and orders a margarita on the rocks. When the tender passes it to her she takes a small sip, tears lining her emerald orbits. '`'
