he follows suit and sinks down to the sand, placing his jacket to one side and propping himself up on his elbows as well. he watches her silently for a moment, a simper still adorning his facial features. soon he switches his attention to the vast darkness above them, the multitude of small ivory dots capturing his attention. he spots quite quickly the big dipper and follows the handle, continuing at that angle 'till the bright north star becomes visible. he taps her shoulder lightly and points up in the direction of the bright shining globe, knowing he needn't talk for her to get what he was pointing out.
