Straedus shook his head gently, clearing away the bad memories. Unlikely as it seemed, with his bright and cheery outlook on life, at one point he had fallen into a deep depression, just after the doctors told him that his joints were getting progressively worse. He did not want that coming back. Not at all.

"Yeah, that's always the way, isn't it? But the weatherman says tomorrow will be clear for sure. Which most likely means that a huge, record-breaking thunderstotm will come rolling along, leaving destruction in its wake."
