\| as if on cue, sirens are heard and an ambulance is seen speeding down the road. she releases his hand, and springs from her position to flag down the ambulance. the vehicle comes to a halt and 3 paramedics appear, equipped and ready to go. they assess the damage through quick, expert examination and disjointed answers from Aravis. the complete the necessary procedures, then carefully move him onto a gurney and into the ambulance. once all are in, the vehicle sets off to the hospital. at the instructions of the paramedics, Aravis keeps a hold on his hand and talks to him on the way there, attempting to keep him focused and concious|\
