How old are you?
16.

How often do you use the internet? Daily.

Do you talk to people online? If so, are you close to any of them? Yes I do and yes I am.

How do you normally communicate with people further away? Phone? Letters? E-mail? Msgers and Email.

Have you ever had a pen pal? How close were you to them? Yes I have, not very close though cuz my pen pal moved and I've lost contact with them ever since... :-P

Do you think relationships online can be as strong as ?real life? relationships? Stronger? Please explain.
I think they can be stronger than those in real-life because on the internet people usually are able to speak their mind a lot easier. Hence online people have a tendancy to know the "real" you better than rl people cuz they see your mind and how you think without actually meeting.

Do you consciously take looks into account when meeting a person face to face for the first time? Do you think you might unconsciously? I do (consciously) look forward to meeting someone very close to me that I know online..

Would it make sense to you, then, that maybe meeting someone where you can?t see them, would allow you to get to know that person better? Explain, either way.
I believe that it does allow you to know them better because when you talk online you talk more freely. That would also make you able to get more information out of them that you want to know...

Have you ever met in person, someone you first met online? If so, were they what you thought they would be?
I havn't yet but I will when I get outta school..

Would you like to express your thoughts on this subject?I think online relationships are a good thing to have... Like I stated above it allows you to speak more freely which would allow you to say stuff that you wouldn't normally tell people. For example you can have someone to talk to you about your problems that in real life no one around you would even care.
People seem to have more sympathy as well as more gumption online. Playing on that fact people are able to build to their self-confidence and character easier than they would in rl.
