Stubbornness is an excellent trait - as is pride. As I sit here trying not to short out my keyboard (yes, me the stonehearted unemotional bitch has in fact started crying cuz she made the mistake of relying on this game to escpae the mistery that has become her life), I can't call your stubbornness unjustified in this case. However, I've also just come back from poking 'round the other boards. There are chars picking up exactly where things left off. There's no reason to torture yourself (or others *coughcough*) because things are supposed to happen one particular way. When have rules ever been followed to the letter? So, things here aren't the same - and they won't be the same, ever again. But, hell, if you were having fun with your chars and their friends are rejoining, wouldn't it make sense to let yourself rejoin? Starting over relationships is a waste of time, IMO. They'd never be anything like they were. Besides, who is really going to notice (besides the person/people you're rp'ing with) if you actually start over or not? Well... there's always nosy people like me who eavesdrop, but... *sighs heavily wanting this goddamned fucking day to be over*
