i remain hidden within the deepening shadows of late-evening, rushing to the ground in a tight crouched position, once again intently studying the frame of my prey. it almost seemed that way - she ran and i, for some reason, gave chase everytime. i noted the pills she devoured like forbidden candy, one of those, was she? i too, had my share of a wild side - ain't no goody-two-shoes darlin'. i spoke silently within my mind, stumbling over the mixed sentances of a conversation even within the confines of my own skull - how pathetic. i continue to silently watch, slowly creeping closer, although my distance is kept and i remain completely shadowed within falling darkness. i find my own roost within the small doorway of an abandoned building, nestling into the corner, silent. the strong, silent type...
