i quickly raised off of her, remaining slightly crouched in the darkness - no sense being carefree and stupid - and proceeded to the back wall of the building, descending the thankfully silent stairs as quietly as possible, pikaboo in tow. as soon as i hit the stable concrete again i released my grip on her wrist, she didn't seem to be fighting against me anymore - besides, i could see no reason for her to go back...they'd kill her. then again, that's exactly what she assumably wanted, so i laid a palm between her shoulder blades and lightly shoved her infront - so i could keep an eye on her. breaking into a brisk lope through the shadowy darkness i approximated where the abandoned dorm had been and sprinted in that direction, urging her to follow and keep up.
