【大纪元5月8日讯】大纪元记者李途温哥华报导,「兵马俑」歌舞剧5月4日在温哥华大剧院 (The Centre)举行首场演出获得很大成功，剧院内不时爆发阵阵掌声。其阵容强大的武打场面、逼真的布景设计和中国古代帝皇将相的生活片段似乎更能得到西方人的青睐。

「兵马俑」歌舞剧从陕北农民发行兵马俑拉开序幕，重现西元前 221 年中国秦朝的故事，以音乐、舞蹈、打斗等舞台动作表现秦秦始皇的施政、宫廷生活、焚书坑儒、遇刺、筑长城、建陵墓及至最后的葬礼。
歌午剧中展现的陕西秦皇陵兵马俑阵，肃穆而悲壮，体现了中华民族悠久的文化底蕴和内涵。

「兵马俑」歌舞剧制作人罗启仁表示，这场中国史诗式动作音乐剧「兵马俑」的演员，大多来自北京舞蹈学院，配以精心设计的布景及立体音响效果，超过了传统百老汇的歌舞剧制作。还有皮尔卡登武术团 ( Pierre Cardin Martial Arts Troupe) 的 15 名好手，在剧中加入「真正的打斗」，将舞台表演的功夫进入一个新的境界。

这场「兵马俑」歌舞剧，约有全中国最顶尖的 90 多名舞蹈表演者，舞台服装 300 多套，使整个演出绚丽多彩。

「兵马俑」歌舞剧将在温哥华演出到5月30日，共有 32 场表演。之后剧团将去多伦多表演 24 场，再转往美国丹佛市进行16 场表演。
