lower appendages propelled the petite shrew onward, dingy garbs giving away obvious poverty. clothed in tattered denims that simply kept as far below as her tanned thighs underwraps and a scarlet tee shirt that was left in slivers of material; both jeans and top smeared with soil and perspiration.

swarthy mane cropped nearly-bare as bangs descended downwards, veiling her creamy eyes with their inky depths. they were like two vast windows that captured the morning sky as the azure sky hung limp in the air; seeming to wish to go back to bed another hour or so.

this same portal to the cerulean abyss that had ascended up over the land seemed to also mask many tragic, and devastating memories. also tucking away these woefuly events of the past were sarcasm and ease when others seemed to bring up history.

rogue adhesive inflated from her satin orifice and burst with a pop before saturate organ of taste slipped from cavity and ran along her now-moist kissers to remove the substance from her lips with a wicked grin.

she knew she looked much like a little runt who just popped out of a garbage can and decided to speed off for the Insitute, but it didn't bother her much. it isn't like she looked much more bedazzling at another hour of the day.

slender digits reaching up and curled around her glasses to pull them down to her eyes; shading them from the light that poured from the lamp above. hoping that, along with her eyes, her worried expressions would be abstruse beneath the shades.

they havta expect me, right? she questioned herself, i mean, c'mon, who would pass a living fireworks show by? chuckling at her own humor, she noticed the glares she was given and returned them with a smile that dripped with a certain rebellious sarcasm.

they lucky i be goin' here, i c'be off ta bayville, then end up joinin' those band a mutants--the brotherhood, they call 'emselves. she told herself, nodding in agreement--as if she were conversing with another. covering her insecurities with a joke, once again, she smiled impishly and scanned the area for any sign of the professor--xavier, they called him. without success, she sighed deeply and heavilly released her ragged bag to the hiemal floor.

snorting, she gazed from student to student as they bustled from room to room and hall to hall. what a bunch a' losers. she voiced in her own mind, smirking. but, what if they don' like me? she inquired, sighing softly as she took a seat in the nearest chair. what if they don' except people with such...dangerous powers? but they can help me! her voice hissed in the endless corners of her brain.

don't loose your cool, jubilee, you don' wanna be settin' off fireworks down the halls. she told herself, knowing how dangerous her powers could become when she became enraged and out of control. swelling another stick of gum into a sphere, she brought it back into her mouth and bust it with her pearly whites in the darkness of her cavity.

why did my parents havta die? she asked herself as she sat there, dropping from upper-class to being dirt poor in days was bad enough--but why did they havta be murdered? i'd still be back in beverly hills if it weren't for the scum who had ta kill 'em she thought in disgust.

eyeing the hallway one last time, she reclined back in the velvet-adorned seat and let her eyelids droop gradually over her eyes as she tried to rest. theere are so many possibilities for a mutant like herself, and getting some rest before talking to 'the boss' was a good idea as she waited in slight impatience.
