I was nestled in-between the warm blankets, drowsiness settling throughout my body. I could vaguely hear voices in the downstairs,
but I ignored them. My fingers massaged my temples
gently, trying to rid myself of my throbbing headache.
Burying my head in the fluffy pillow, I fell into a
slumber. I awoke with a start; my headache had finally
ceased. I thoroughly rubbed my eyes, as my vision was
blurred slightly. When I looked up I saw some
unfamiliar faces, along with my parent�s anxious ones.
W-what are you doing in my room? I questioned
cautiously, my voice slurred from sleep. They glanced
at each other in such a way that confused me. I
said- I began, firmly setting my hand on my bed to
get up. My hand collided with the hard-wood floor,
which hurt slightly. Ouch! I said, my eyes
growing wide. What am I doing down here? I
asked, my voice becoming unsteady. Scrambling to my
feet, I repeated my question. No one answered.

I was thirteen when that happened, and that was when
Xavier took me to Xavier�s School for the Gifted. I
staid there, under the tutelage of the X-Men. That is
my home. That is where I belong.

power:Kitty's powers enable her to phase through walls. She does this by canceling out the space between atoms, and therefore should not turn transparent when
phasing; she does not turn into a ghostly vision. By
doing this, she can levitate.
