She remains silent for a very long time just standing there thinking about what Amarant had said. Finally, she slowly nods her head as she pulls away from their embrace, "I did mean the mere-folk, and I know you will protect him, but Amarant, what if he wants to go, we can not stop him then, no matter how hard we try, when you put you and me together, you get a very strong minded and stubborn person." She sighs softly and shakes her head, "Let's not worry about it, we are at a ball, and we should be enjoying ourselves, not crying." She smiles a small smile and wipes her eyes, "Amarant, have you every danced in a ball before?"
